History:
The palace was built in the second half of the XVIII century for the Ivanovich family of captains. There are mentions of it in land documents of 1808 — then it belonged to Luka Ivanovich and was estimated at 6,400 Austrian forints. The Ivanovichi were considered one of the richest Dobrot families — by the beginning of the 19th century they had 11 houses in Dobrot with a total value of 23140 Austrian forints. For comparison, there are 24 good houses.
The architecture of the buildings is made in the Baroque style. It is one of the outstanding castles and buildings on the coast of Montenegro.
