Tivat (in Montenegrin — "Tivat") is a city on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro in the Bay of Kotor, the administrative center of the smallest municipality in the country (46 km2). For tourist purposes, this area is often called the Tivat Riviera.
According to the 2003 census, the city itself had a population of 9,467 people, while the entire municipality had 11,400 inhabitants.
